Rainbow of Sound Books #1 -6 ![]() ![]() Study of the Treble Clef - Guidelines for Parents and Teachers Stories for free improvisation - suitable for young children. This book contains a story about the different elements that we live in. The music reflects the poetry, alliteration and story line. Notes of the treble clef are introduced through means of color energies. Children as young as 4-5 can benefit from this book. Until they reach 7, I prefer that the book be used as a tool to stimulate their creativity at the harp rather than jump into note reading. ![]() Study of the Bass Clef - Delightful Songs The songs that were introduced in Book one now appear with left hand accompaniment. There are two pages of Daily Exercises which help train the hand to "automatically" reach for various types of configurations of chords. Basic rhythm and musical terms are also introduced in this book. ![]() The Emerald Harp Book - An Enchanting Celtic Story by Barbara Yule Barbara Yule McDermott wrote a delightful story titled the Emerald Harp. It is a story of a young girl who lives in Scotland and her adventures into the Elfin Kingdom and about the beautiful Fairy Queen who played a shimmering Emerald Harp. Arrangements of the selections that are found on Christina's Emerald Harp Recording are found in this book. They include: The Dark Isle, Childgrove, Danny Boy, Greensleeves, Maids of Mourne Shore, My Plaidie, Avondale, Captain O'Keane, Star of County Down and many more. ![]() Study of the Bass Clef - A Welsh Story by Joanna Vale Joanna writes of a young lad, Gabriel who lives in Wales. It is his story of how he learns compassion and how to take care of the world we live in.
